The Big Apple
And the one thing you MUST figure out now
Every week, I spend hours researching 100’s of sources, to find the best ways for busy 9to5’ers to get ahead on YouTube, even when you’re short of time, energy and budget
In today’s newsletter:
☑️ The Big Apple / Why
☑️ Next Up
💥 The Big Apple
Concrete jungle where dreams are made of
This is going to be a shorter newsletter this week. Yet hopefully more impactful to you than any of the others.
The reason it’s shorter… I am up to my eyeballs in day job but also planning. No, not the next YouTube video (will tell you about that shortly). No, I’m planning a trip to New York. The big Apple.
You see, travel is important to me. It’s part of my “Why”.
Having a "why" is like having a secret superpower. It’s what keeps you going when you'd rather binge-watch Netflix or take an extra-long nap. Your "why" is the reason behind your hustle and creativity.
For me, it's about taking my kids to see new parts of the world and experience the variety of life.
Our next trip is New York, showing them the crazy of Times Square and the magic of Central Park. Knowing that all the late-night editing sessions and early morning shoots will lead to their excitement, keeps me motivated.
Think of your "why" as your personal cheerleader. It reminds you why you started this journey in the first place and keeps you focused when things get tough.
Maybe your "why" is to travel the world, like mine, or to inspire others with your stories. Whatever it is, having a solid reason makes the journey not just bearable but enjoyable.
So, find your "why," embrace it, and let it be the fuel that powers your creative engine!
Write it down. Say it out loud. Create a vision board, or tattoo it to your arse. Whatever keeps it forefront of your mind.
▶️ What’s Next?
My next YouTube video is going to be a sponsored post from a company I like the look of.
If you’ve seen my content before, you will know I’m a huge fan of Canva (it isn’t them). A few week back, a company called Fotor reached out. They have a photo editing and graphics application very similar to Canva, packed full of AI features.
So I put it to the test and was pleasantly surprised.
I’m still thinking of the angle of my video, how I present it. Maybe you could help?
I don’t think a video titled “5 best features of Fotor” is going to work (unless you are aware of their brand). So I’m thinking of putting a YouTube thumbnail spin to it.
Maybe “Create YouTube Thumbnails Fast Without Any Tech Skills”.
What do you think? Any other suggestions?
That’s it for this week, as always, I hope you are creating your content without any pain or problem, taking those steps forward and remembering your why….
